The Role

As an Associate Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in our Financial Analysis team. You will support the evaluation of new opportunities, financing, and valuation of the Sonnedix portfolio. Working closely with senior leaders and teams across Growth/M&A, Strategic Finance, Asset Management, and Project Finance, you will help build and maintain financial models, analyse acquisition opportunities, and support our transition to a new modelling system. This role is based in Warsaw and will mainly support the Polish, German, and UK markets, with opportunities to contribute to projects across our global business. As we continue to digitalise our analytical processes, you will also contribute to improving our financial tools, data workflows, and modelling efficiency.

Desirable skills

• Fluent in Excel, with proven experience in building and reviewing complex financial models (e.g. tax calculations, debt sizing)
• Fluent in English; other languages (Spanish, Italian, French) would be an advantage
• Experience evaluating investment opportunities and conducting scenario analyses
• Experience building strong working relationships and communicating effectively with diverse teams
• Deep critical thinking skills – ability to hypothesise and draw conclusions from numerical data, and to explain these to key stakeholders
• Able to leverage modelling systems, automation tools, and analytical platforms to improve processes, reduce manual effort, and increase efficiency
