We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Katowice, providing analytical support to FP&A and Business Finance. The focus of this role will be CAPEX management. The successful candidate will also support management with financial and analytical tasks, including month‑end closing activities, forecast/budget reviews and analysis, as well as preparing management reports and presentations.
Responsibilities
- Capex management
- Support the review of the monthly financial results to ensure overall data integrity
- Involvement in the analysis and explanations of significant variances vs. prior month/year/plan
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of standard management reports including P&L, B/S, headcount, asset management analysis.
- Work closely with 100+ sites around the globe to provide support in reporting and forecasting
- Support the FP&A team in the preparation of presentations for various senior management meetings
- Support process improvements, including the creation of new reports, tools, and dashboards
- Take part in various ad‑hoc projects (provide technical and analytical support to sites around the globe)
- Support the rest of the FP&A Team in month‑end activities
- Cooperate and support various ad‑hoc projects as required by group controlling
Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 4+ years’ work experience in similar roles in finance/accounting departments in structured multinational companies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Fluent in English, advanced level written & spoken)
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Result oriented and willing to go the extra-mile
- Hands‑on approach
- Knowledge of Power BI is an asset
- Knowledge of Board is an asset
