We are looking for a candidate to join our team as a VAT Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a Master or Bachelor degree in economics, finance, or accounting, strong written and spoken English language skills, and advanced Excel skills.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- preparation of VAT returns and other indirect tax related reports for multinational clients on a country-specific guidance
- VAT returns & VAT accounts reconciliations and clean-ups for selected EMEA countries
- liaison with foreign tax authorities
- responding to requests from clients and pro-actively anticipating our clients’ needs
- identifying the opportunities for process and technology improvements
The requirements for the role are:
- a Master or Bachelor degree in economics, finance, or accounting
- strong written and spoken English language skills (knowledge of French language will be an asset)
- advanced Excel skills
- team player with strong analytical skills and problem solver mindset
- some professional experience in Finance or Accounting, ideally in Shared Service environment or Big4
- basic knowledge of EU VAT principles
