We are looking for a candidate to join our team as a VAT Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a Master or Bachelor degree in economics, finance, or accounting, strong written and spoken English language skills, and advanced Excel skills.

The responsibilities of the role include:

• preparation of VAT returns and other indirect tax related reports for multinational clients on a country-specific guidance
• VAT returns & VAT accounts reconciliations and clean-ups for selected EMEA countries
• liaison with foreign tax authorities
• responding to requests from clients and pro-actively anticipating our clients’ needs
• identifying the opportunities for process and technology improvements

The requirements for the role are:

• a Master or Bachelor degree in economics, finance, or accounting
• strong written and spoken English language skills (knowledge of French language will be an asset)
• advanced Excel skills
• team player with strong analytical skills and problem solver mindset
• some professional experience in Finance or Accounting, ideally in Shared Service environment or Big4
• basic knowledge of EU VAT principles
