Responsibilites:

• Supporting the accounts payable team with inquiries about travel and time recording
• Preparing monthly management accounts according to IFRS for Germany
• Reconciling balance sheet items and accruing accounts
• Preparing annual financial statements
• Providing support during audits
• Coordinating tax reports
• Submitting local advance VAT returns

Requirements:

• Qualifications as a tax clerk or financial accountant, or a university degree in accounting and/or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in finance/accounting
• Knowledge of German tax regulations
• Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency in both German and English
• Ability to work independently and proactively
