Headhunter: Finance & Finance Systems | Senior Consultant (DACH & EU)

Introduction to the position

We are seeking a Finance Systems Manager (NetSuite) for a rapidly growing group of consumer-focused companies. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth organization, contributing to multiple ongoing projects while supporting the launch of new products.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of finance and technology, managing the design and set‑up of financial systems, data flows, automation, and ERP integrations. You will act as the technical counterpart to finance stakeholders, collaborating with internal engineering, IT, and business systems teams to design scalable solutions and identify automation opportunities.

The position offers flexibility, with remote work possible and relocation options if required. This is an exciting chance to shape the future of the company’s finance technology landscape, supporting strategic initiatives and long‑term growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage hybrid system set‑up for finance, focusing on technical project management rather than hands‑on engineering.
• Design financial technology set‑ups, including payment flows, reconciliations, refunds, and ERP logic.
• Map data permissions and ensure smooth financial data flows and integrations across teams.
• Act as the technical liaison between finance stakeholders and internal engineering/IT teams.
• Challenge and design systems for current operations and future scalability.
• Identify opportunities for automation and draft logic for ERP systems.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in designing financial processes and systems with a focus on hybrid orchestration or technical project management.
• Understanding of data engineering workflows, basic SQL, and workflow processes.
• Strong ability to liaise with finance stakeholders and internal technical teams.
• Hands‑on coding skills (e.g., Python) not required; focus is on designing flows and interfacing with teams.
• Proven ability to draft ERP logic, automate financial processes, and optimize workflows.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple ongoing projects.
