Job Description
- Lead finance workstreams within business changes: assess impact, define required outcomes, and ensure teams are ready for go-live
- Translate finance/actuarial needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for system and process changes
- Build clarity around "what the data means" (definitions, calculations, lineage) and keep documentation actionable and up to date
- Strengthen governance and controls around data, tools, interfaces and reporting outputs; flag risks early and drive resolution
- Own testing cycles (UAT/regression/compatibility): plan, coordinate, track defects, and secure sign-offs
- Ensure smooth handover to BAU teams through training, playbooks, and practical documentation
- Partner with IT and external vendors to deliver scalable solutions and process improvements, including automation opportunities
- Communicate complex finance + tech topics in a simple way to non-technical stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, (or similar)
- ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified, or close to qualification with strong, relevant experience
- 8+ years in financial reporting / accounting processes, ideally in a regulated environment
- Proven track record delivering finance system/data changes (upgrades, migrations, process redesign, reporting transformations)
- Solid understanding ofალოდ data governance and control frameworks (ownership, reconciliations, auditability, quality checks)
- Hands-on exposure to finance/reporting ecosystems (e.g., Oracle, Tagetik, SAP BusinessObjects or comparable tools)
- Comfortable running UAT end-to-end and producing clear, structured documentation
- Strong stakeholder skills across Finance, Actuarialwasana, IT and vendors
- Fluent English (spoken & written)
- Proactive, detail-focused, adaptable in a multi-priority environment
