Job Description:

To our Global Finance Service Centre based in Gdańsk, we are looking for a Finance Operations Section Manager who will participate in the migration, implementation, and stabilization of new and existing RTR processes and systems. Once stabilized, the Finance Operations Section Manager will oversee the end-to-end processes and reporting, including responsibility for 2+ teams (growing structure) delivering RTR processes, Reporting, and Master Data.

What you’ll do:

1. Manage 2+ (growing structure) Team Leaders, ensuring processes in respective sections meet contractual requirements and deadlines, and internal controls are followed.
2. Ensure the control framework is up to date and followed.
3. Develop and motivate direct reports.
4. Partner closely with site management to resolve challenges and implement solutions across the entire RTR and/or FSC process.
5. Provide regular feedback and engage with Senior stakeholders to improve customer service.
6. Enhance and track metrics to measure team efficiencies, timeliness, and process output. Make recommendations for areas of improvement highlighted by the metrics.
7. Track and control a relevant P&L section including salary structures, T&E, etc.
8. Coordinate delivery based on audit requests.
9. Work with Finance, Accounting, and IT management teams to coordinate systems roadmap.

Who you will work with:

• Business stakeholders, FSC Managers, Leaders, Project Managers, Procurement, and Associates.

Professional skills you possess:

• University Degree in Finance or Part Qualified Accounting Qualification: ACCA, ACA, CIMA is preferable.
• 5+ years of previous Record to Report/Financial Accounting/Reporting experience is essential.
• Proven track record in managing a team of 8+ persons including motivation and development.
• Experience in managing managers is preferable.
• Senior stakeholders’ management experience is essential.
• Professional in all job aspects, including verbal and written communications.
• Motivated, well-organized, and goal-oriented team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-growing company.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Proficiency with PowerBI is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems implementations and process automation is preferred.
