Finance Manager / Plant Controller (Wrocław)

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Plant Controller to join our team in Wrocław. The role includes comprehensive financial management of the local manufacturing entity, operational support for the plant, and cooperation with other companies within our international capital group. The position reports directly to the Group CFO.

Your responsibilities

• Overseeing the full accounting process for the Polish entity in compliance with local GAAP and tax regulations.
• Preparing statutory financial statements and coordinating external audits.
• Ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Acting as a business partner to the Plant Director and the local management team.
• Conducting financial analyses and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and cost performance.
• Preparing and monitoring KPIs, budgets, and forecasts.
• Supporting decision-making through variance analysis and scenario planning.
• Managing financial aspects of project-based business: cost tracking, margin analysis, and cash flow planning.
• Handling Letters of Credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and related international documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual and financial requirements for all projects.
• Preparing financial reports for the Group headquarters.
• Providing financial support and collaborating with other companies within the capital group, including reporting, analysis, and cost control activities.
• Ensuring alignment with group policies and internal control standards.
• Identifying, evaluating and managing programs related to additional financing of business activities, including government grants, subsidies, R&D tax reliefs and other available support instruments. Coordinating applications, documentation and reporting required for such programs.

Our requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or project-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of Polish accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proven experience in plant controlling and cost optimization.
• Practical experience in project finance, including LCs and bank guarantees.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Polish and English (written and spoken).
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
