Finance Manager or Finance Project Manager.

Due to the development of our client, an international Transport Company with an established position on the market, we are looking for people for the position of Finance Manager or Finance Project Manager.
Your responsibilities of Finance Manager

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
  • Knowledge of and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Cash flow management and bank reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with the Group Finance Director and controlling team to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Perform financial analysis and reporting to guide business decisions.
  • Manage relations with external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with our remote teams across Europe and all finance-related matters.
  • Cooperation with Moldova shared-service center for transactional accounting and possible transfer of SSC back to Poland in the future.
  • Regular reporting on the financial performance to external stakeholders.
  • Soft skills and appropriate business culture will be important for the above role.
  • Ability to adapt in a very fast-growing organization.
  • The profile of the person should be related to experience in the area of digitalization of financial processes and systems.
  • Team management (4-5 people.)

Your responsibilities of Finance Project Manager
  • Implementation of financial systems in the EMEA area.
  • Leading and coordinating projects aimed at internal process improvements and organisational development.
  • Drawing up project plans, assigning tasks, monitoring progress and reporting to Manager Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement.
  • Involving employees in changes, creating support and guiding the change process.
  • Identifying changes required to facilitate internal growth and implementing effective change strategies.
  • Interacting with different departments within the organisation and promoting cooperation and communication between teams.
  • Support in the area of system digitalization.
  • Management or support in projects related to consolidation (planning, budgeting, management), management reporting, measurement.
  • Experience in implementing and setting up financial systems other than SAP.

Our requirements of Finance Manager
  • Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years’ proven leadership experience as a finance manager or a chief accountant.
  • Strong expertise in local GAAP/Tax and IFRS.
  • Knowledge of Polish legal environment.
  • Experience with BI systems; strong MS office skills (XLS and PPT).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong communication and managerial skills; people management and influencing skills.
  • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent analytical skills.

Our requirements of Finance Project Manager
  • At least a Bachelor39s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in a senior role within an organisation with a focus on driving internal growth and process improvements.
  • Proven track record in identifying, designing and implementing process improvements within an organisation, with particular focus on leveraging technological developments.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to intitiate, lead and complete projects from start to finish within set deadlines and budgets.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, both internal and external.
