Finance Manager

Your responsibilities

• Managing the team of 2-3 FTE responsible for general ledger accounting and taxes
• Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual stand-alone financial reports to internal and external parties
• Leading the end-to-end audit process while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors
• Analyzing financial data (balance sheet and profit and loss accounts) and commenting on significant period to period variances and trends
• Ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all related tasks like CIT, VAT, NBP, and statistic reports for Polish and German companies.
• Communicating with CE plants and Global Business Service in Portugal
• Readiness to participate in special projects to improve efficiency, quality and accuracy of work performed within financial processes
• Ensuring adherence to all established procedures, best practices and internal controls

Our requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting practices and standards aligned with local GAAP and IFRS
• At least 5-6 years of relevant experience in full general ledger accounting or group accounting, or audit background
• At least 3-4 years of experience in team management
• Computer literate with strong Excel skills
• Fluency in English essential
• Driving license and availability to travel
• Good understanding of German accounting practices as additional asset
• Experience in SAP
