Manage local Finance team - Controlling and Accounting (6 team members) - including the supervision, delegation and coordination of tasks, goal setting and regular assessments to develop the team of finance professionals
Evaluate and implement company accounting procedures to ensure alignment with statutory regulations, tax obligations, and corporate group policies as well as effective cooperation with the group
Provide financial partnerships for the organizations designated areas and projects; serve as a contact point for other departments providing guidance on financial matters
Manage finance / tax projects including the alignment of the local Finance team with corporate group teams
Key interface for the EXEC team, preparing Adhoc requests (monitoring studio performance and provide analysis), and the holding company
Coordinate the implementation of ongoing local reporting / tax requirements (VAT, CIT, WHT, ...- e.g. JPK KR_PD)
Supervise tax projects with external tax consultants (e.g. Transfer pricing documentation, ...) to ensure reportings requirements are met
Ensure compliance of all transactions’ recognition with Polish tax regulations (VAT, CIT and WHT)
Audit the completeness of financial documentation within the Group and the compliance of its records as well as with internal budget requirements
Coordinate the process of monthly tax reporting in Poland, including preparation of VAT returns (JPK), WHT and yearly CIT reporting
Coordinate, review and prepare month-end / year-end closings of Flying Wild Hog companies in cooperation with the local finance team
Work with external auditors for year-end audit to meet group requirements as well as statutory regulatory requirements
Work closely with PLAION / Fellowship capital group Teams on month-end / year-end closings of Flying Wild Hog companies with overseeing completeness of required procedures
Our requirements
Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting / Taxes or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, SkwP, PIBR, CPA)
Excellent knowledge of Polish tax regulations and accounting standards
Strong expertise on month-end / year-end closing procedures as well as reportings
Experience in leadership / supervisory role as an independent team manager
Very good command of the English language in writing and speaking (to be used on a daily basis)
Experience in working with ERP system SAP
Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
Experience in Game Development Industry will be a plus
