About the position:

This role focuses on overseeing IFRS and statutory accounting and reporting for HQ, ensuring accurate financial statements and compliance with corporate and local regulations. Responsibilities include preparing financial analyses, corporate reports, and submissions for internal/external stakeholders, as well as local governmental and tax authorities. The role involves reconciling key account balances, executing J-SOX controls, supporting internal and external audits, and maintaining detailed documentation of accounting processes to align with IFRS, statutory, and corporate standards.

Main areas of responsibility:

1. Ownership of IFRS and/or Statutory accounting and reporting for HQ;
2. Prepare corporate reporting pages for HQ with underlying analysis and explanations for internal/external stakeholders;
3. Prepare analysis of the significant financial transactions impacting the financial statements;
4. Prepare reports to local governmental and tax authorities;
5. Perform or verify key account balances reconciliations for all accounts;
6. Execute J-SOX;
7. Support of Audits (Internal and External);
8. Maintain detailed GBS transactional documentation (IFRS, Statutory requirements) for the market in charge and update it to ensure Core Services are executed in line with Corporate and market local accounting requirements.

Requirements:

1. Have a University degree (Accounting or Finance);
2. Strong knowledge of IFRS (to be verified during interview);
3. Min 5 years of experience in a multinational company or audit;
4. Proficient knowledge of SAP and MS Applications;
5. Fluent English (written and spoken), German or French would be an advantage;
6. High integrity and ability to work with different cultures, excellent communication skills.
