Position: Financial Director
As a Financial Director , you will provide financial leadership and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements. You will advise senior management on financial issues and ensure accurate accounting and reporting in line with IQVIA SOPs, US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and local regulations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting for the Poland Regional Business Unit.
- Maintain fiduciary and statutory responsibilities, including legal entity oversight, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
- Contribute to regional and divisional finance strategies and ensure team understanding and alignment.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including analysis of financial statements.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and lead the Finance team (Accounting, Contract Administration, Commercial Finance, Payroll).
- Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and develop financial strategies.
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the finance function, including lean methodologies.
- Participate in strategic initiatives and manage team resources effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
- Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Management.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or KIBR preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in team management.
- Experience as a board member in an international organization is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP and Hyperion.
- Knowledge of US GAAP; high integrity and self-confidence.
- Fluency in English and Polish.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of challenging assumptions.
