In the Warsaw headquarter there is also one of 7 Finance Business Shared Services Center. Established in January 2018, it is one of L’Oréal’s most rapidly growing units. BEST carries out accounting processes for 14 markets from Central and Eastern Europe, and Middle-East. BEST consists of the following departments: Process to Payment, Cash Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury, Delivery Excellence, and also Controlling, responsible for OPEX costs.

? We´re looking for the next SG&A Controller who will be:

Responsibilities

Responsible for the management of budget and trend processes together with the preparation, analysis, sharing, and monitoring of key reports and indicators to support various stakeholders.
In charge of identifying relevant risks and opportunities, proposing, and implementing necessary corrective actions, while harmonizing processes across all countries with a view to drive efficiency while complying with group standards.
As a member of the Centralized BEST Controlling team, act as a Stream Lead and Country Referent.
As a Stream Lead, provide expertise on Stream related topics and projects (e.g. Travel Meetings).
Animate the Stream across Zone and compare performance between countries.
Monitor compliance with Group guidelines and oversee expenses forecasting.
Ensure standardization of approach across countries.
Drive innovation/optimization continually.
As a Country Lead, be a single point of contact with Country Budget Owner(s) & Country CFO - Corporate Controller.
Coordinate with Stream Leads to have the latest information on your country.
Overview/Control SG&A with Expenses and Variance costs; responsible for assigned countries.
Drive data quality & controls.

Qualifications

An enthusiastic professional with a change mindset and at least 2 years of relevant previous experience in financial controlling.
University degree in Finance & Accounting or/and International Business & Economics.
Independently manage workload and prioritize appropriately to meet deadlines.
A team player with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for a common goal.
Good analytical skills as well as an ability to step back and see the ‘big picture’.
Strong interpersonal skills: communicating, defending ideas, and convincing.
Efficiency-oriented: proactively challenging the status quo to design more efficient ways of working.
Fluent in professional English.
