Description

This role reports to the Finance Director – France, with responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of accounting and finance matters. The successful candidate will have broad finance operations experience and strong accounting technical knowledge.

Location: Lyon (on-site/hybrid), with availability to travel within France.

PE owned company.

Responsibilities include managing general ledger entries, performing month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, reconciling accounts and bank statements, assisting in budgeting and financial planning, coordinating audits, supporting tax filings, developing accounting procedures, and collaborating with other departments to support business goals.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Controller/Finance professional or at a Big Four Accounting Firm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong knowledge of French GAAP and taxes.
• Knowledge of French language.
• Focus on process improvement and digitalization.
• International work experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
