Analyse financial information for the group (historical, prospective or hypothetical) to provide insights for the business regarding its performance, support business decisions, and plans for the future
Act as a partner and communicate with stakeholders to gain understanding of their needs and to convey and interpret the results of financial analysis
Prepare formal financial presentation material that is to be delivered by finance and other leaders of the business
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and actively participate in lean improvement projects
Represent the broader interests of the finance team by maintaining a general understanding of financial accounting, income taxes, treasury, and internal audit and driving appropriate consultation within and beyond finance
Develop and maintain financial models used for decision support for the group, such as those used in the product life cycle process, capital expenditure justifications, and make vs. buy decisions
Maintenance of organisational key figures, management of special projects and implementation of benchmarking functions in financial accounting
Further development of the key performance indicators for management and the corresponding IT tools
Requirements:
Completed business studies (controlling or alternatively finance/accounting)
Practical experience in controlling, starting with internships/working student activities or from related areas (e.g. auditing)
Very good knowledge of MS Excel
Experience in using presentation tools as well as ERP and/or BI tools
At least good knowledge of English (C1);
Nice to have:
Alternatively: successfully completed commercial training and further training(s) in controlling
Depending on the controlling function, another specialisation may also be relevant: e.g. logistics for supply chain controlling, sales for sales controlling, technology for production/plant controlling
