Customs Support is the leading independent customs broker in the EU. This role reports to the Finance Director – France and has accountability for the accuracy and completeness of accounting/finance matters.

Location

Location base: Lyon (on-site/Hybrid). With availability to travel in France. PE owned company. Dynamic high pace development.

Main tasks

• Manage general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of all accounting records.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.
• Oversee and reconcile account balances and bank statements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Coordinate audits (internal and external) and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Support tax preparation and filings, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Develop and implement improved accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals and decision-making.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• Experience as a Controller/Finance or at a Big Four firm: minimum 4 years.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Understanding and experience working with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong knowledge of accounting (French GAAP) and taxes.
• Knowledge of French language.
• Strong focus on process improvement and digitalization.
• Experience working internationally is an asset.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Team player.
• Must be residing in Poland.
