Finance Controller – Manufacturing Site (Wrocław Area)
Location: Wrocław Area (minimum 3 days/week on-site)????
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent contract, Monday-Friday 8:00-16:00
For a global manufacturing company, we are currently seeking a Finance Controller to oversee financial compliance and reporting for its Polish legal entity. This is a key role within the local leadership team, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and local statutory requirements.
- Act as a financial compliance partner for cross-functional business initiatives.
- Coordinate statutory filings and manage relationships with external advisors.
- Review and authorize commercial contracts related to the Polish entity.
- Collaborate closely with global finance teams on accounting and reporting matters.
- Oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations and year-end audit processes.
- Lead preparation and submission of statutory financial statements in line with Polish regulations.
- Manage lease accounting activities (IFRS16) and support asset valuation processes.
- Prepare long-term statutory forecasts and impairment models.
- Support funding and dividend repatriation strategies in coordination with regional finance leadership.
- Monitor and review intercompany charges and royalty calculations.
- Lead external audits and tax inspections, ensuring timely communication with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in financial control, ideally within a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of Polish GAAP and IFRS.
- Solid understanding of P&L management and financial forecasting.
- English and Polish at min. B2 level.
