Purpose of the Role

This role provides dedicated financial insight and partnership to the Chief Operating Officer, supporting the operational and supply chain functions across the global manufacturing network. The Finance Business Partner will consolidate, interpret, and communicate key financial data - including site P&Ls, operational cost drivers, net working capital, and capital expenditure - to enable clear visibility of performance, highlight risks and opportunities, and support informed decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyse all operational and supply chain financial data across the manufacturing network.
• Prepare clear, standardised site‑based P&L reports with meaningful commentary and variance analysis.
• Monitor and report net working capital performance, highlighting key trends in inventory, receivables, and payables.
• Develop and maintain a CapEx tracking and reporting process, ensuring accurate visibility of project spend, approvals, and forecast versus budget.
• Identify financial risks, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities across sites and functions.
• Partner with site leadership and operational managers to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and drive performance improvements.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning processes within Operations.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data, working closely with Group Finance to align definitions and reporting standards.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and decision support for the COO and Operations Leadership Team.

Skills & Experience

• Strong financial analysis and business partnering experience, ideally within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent Excel and data‑handling skills; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools advantageous.
• Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and working capital dynamics.
• Experience preparing management reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and trends.
• Strong communication skills, with confidence to engage cross‑functionally and at all organisational levels.
