Finance Business Partner

What the day will look like

  • Take responsibility for maintaining the company’s financial statements, management reporting, and financial controls.
  • Partner with Senior Management to provide accurate financial data that supports business needs.
  • Lead forecasting, planning, and business analysis for your business unit/area of responsibility.
  • Prepare and present monthly forecast updates to Senior Management, highlighting the company’s position relative to budget/forecast.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process, including template design and critical review of planning assumptions.
  • Deliver relevant and accurate financial analysis and updates on revenue for dedicated departments.
  • Support the financial review of key initiatives focused on driving business performance, including profitability, revenue analysis, and staff costs review.
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process and controllership activities (including balance sheet reviews).
  • Ensure high‑quality and accurate submissions of financial information to Region/Group head office.
  • Maintain responsibility for day‑to‑day accounting of dedicated entities (including month‑end close tasks).
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, and oversee reporting to local authorities.
  • Collaborate daily with local business teams and support junior finance analysts.
  • Prepare documents for Board Meetings and provide ad‑hoc financial disclosures and reports.

You’ll join a team of over 300 employees in Krakow, providing financial services for Aon entities across multiple countries. Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience, with strong knowledge of FP&A.
  • Previous experience partnering with business/operations.
  • Professional accounting qualification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial technical accounting.
  • Fluency in English.
  • TM1 and Workday skills are an advantage.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data, perform reconciliations, and present clear analysis to senior executives.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines, and adjust working hours to meet reporting deadlines for a public company in a different time zone (Bermuda).
