Junior Finance Business Controller

Are you passionate about transforming the ways we do business while leveraging your finance knowledge? Are you looking forward to collaborating with the non-finance part of the organization to meet the company’s strategic goals? Then this might be the right role for you.

You will be responsible for co-leading and expanding the Commercial Finance activities from the business sustainability insights generation (P&L, resource allocations, forecasts, pricing decisions and financial trade-offs…) to the customer value creation (creating maximum value in customer journeys through the deal calculation, proposal and execution, the customer dialogue review…), in order to provide the basis for decision making across the company to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

The opportunity:

  • Accountable for preparing the delivery of comprehensive and relevant financial insights both actuals and outlooks: P&L and Margin analysis. Provide transparency to investment and de-investment opportunities to support overall profitable business growth opportunities;
  • Responsible for the coordination of the budget & business plan process and foster a culture of business innovation;
  • Ensure, in collaboration with the Finance Shared Service Center, the financial monthly closing of the affiliate (i.e. accruals, analysis of P&L lines);
  • Drive business process effectiveness by developing and implementing new technologies and solutions, while bringing a strong internal control framework effectiveness;
  • Nurture and expand the customer satisfaction by developing the finance accounts management skills within the organization (customer profitability monitoring, customer performance review);
  • Define and perform hands-on operational tasks both within as outside the finance function.

Who you are:

  • You are a team player and your personal qualities match our values of integrity; you are ready to co-create the team spirit: work hard and have fun on the way!
  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar role.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and experience of final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination - ideally as Finance Controller;
  • Strong business and finance acumen and ability to operate in matrix organizations;
  • Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English;
  • You know how to set priorities and you have keen analytical, organizational and problem solving skills which support and enable sound decision making;
  • Knowledge of standard MS Office applications and relevant ERP systems (SAP);
  • Project management, AI, BI (Tableau or Power BI) experience or self willingness to develop these skills is a strong advantage.
