For our European site located in Warsaw, Poland, we are looking for a:

Finance and Planning Analyst

The Finance Analyst is responsible for the Budgeting, Forecasting, Analysis and Management Reporting activities for designated markets. The Analyst will work closely with the in-market finance leads and the CoE Manager to provide finance support for the commercial business.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of the budget and forecast supporting the in-market finance lead and providing analysis to the business to support their operational and strategic planning activities including analysis on revenue, profitability, growth, and other drivers that influence finance decision support to the business.

2. Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations, in addition to assisting the market finance leads in the development of the earnings commentaries.

3. Preparation and analysis of the periodic management reporting of financial results for assigned functional areas.

4. Working closely with ZFS (financial shared services) on month-end activities including profitability analysis, price and volume analysis and submission, the review of mark-up adjustment, rebates and sales return provisions and other month-end entries.

5. Routine communication with the in-market finance leads and supervisor relating to financial close, issues and deliverables.

6. Performing ad hoc analysis, special projects and reporting to improve process efficiency and performance.

7. Respond to requests from CoE colleagues in an efficient and timely manner.

8. Work collaboratively with the Finance Director, CoE Manager, ZFS Shared Services Team and International Operations HQ Finance Team to ensure continuity of business knowledge and execution of the responsibilities related to planning and budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

9. Contribute to ongoing Zoetis efficiency opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

1. Undergraduate degree in Finance or Financial Accounting or Business Administration.

2. 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting preferable with a multinational company in FP&A.

3. Ability to prepare, conduct and lead Executive-level presentations.

4. Working knowledge of Anaplan, SAP, Hyperion Financial Management and Essbase, Microsoft Office package.

5. Demonstrated proficiency in US GAAP is a plus.

6. Ability to identify business issues and opportunities through financial analysis and reporting; meeting reporting deadlines.

7. Analytical and solution oriented to resolve complex issues, with attention to detail.

8. Effective communication and organization skills.

9. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

10. Willingness to travel once or twice a year.
