Finance and Administration Manager



Your responsibilities

  • Financial Leadership: Manage comprehensive financial accounting, reporting, and compliance for all Polish entities. Direct and coordinate tax reporting (corporate tax, VAT, payroll taxes) for Poland and Estonia.
  • Strategic Controlling: Deliver detailed cost planning, period-end analysis, inventory accounting, and budgeting.
  • Efficient Procurement: Manage purchase orders, supplier contracts, and procurement processes.
  • Business Partnership: Provide strategic support and insights to operations and commercial teams within the Bukowno cluster.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all processes comply with global standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Banking and Auditing Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for banks and auditors, ensuring smooth and compliant financial operations.
  • Change Management: Drive change management initiatives to improve finance processes and systems, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption across teams.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement and promote operational excellence in all financial activities, continuously seeking improvements and efficiencies.
  • Process Integration: Lead the integration of finance processes with other business functions, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with overall business strategies.

Our requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Finance Manager in a multi-site organization.
  • Proficiency in English and Polish is imperative.
  • Experience in manufacturing or production and multinational organizations is preferred.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Expertise in Polish Accounting Standards and IFRS.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables).
  • Familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Experience in analyzing financial data, prepare financial reports, statements and forecasts.
  • Strong Analytical thinking skills, high attention to detail & accuracy while being able to use a helicopter view.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Poland/Estonia on an ad hoc basis.

As our new Finance & Administration Manager (internally known as Business Services Manager), you will play a pivotal role in leading the finance department for all accounting activities within Poland, managing a €80 million revenue. This includes general accounting and accounts payable for the entire country (2 clusters). Additionally, you will act as a business partner to the operations and commercial directors for one of the two clusters in Poland- providing them with strategic insights as well as guidance to drive business performance. For this cluster, you will also manage controlling, local tranctional procurement and HR activities suppored through your team members.
