Within Finance, the Portfolio Management Reporting & Analysis (PMRA) team stands out as a vibrant group dedicated to managing all facets of compensation reporting, forecasting, and analysis. This includes overseeing monthly accounting accruals, expense and balance sheet reconciliations, firm-wide deferred compensation, key metrics reporting, cash forecasting, and year-end bonus calculations for our Investment Professionals. As the Firm grows and compensation paradigms evolve, our team is continually challenged to adapt and excel in response to new business initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Calculate and reconcile contractual performance bonuses for all Portfolio Managers and Investment Professionals for monthly accrual and year-end payment purposes
• Create and manage analytical models and recurring reporting used by Portfolio Managers, business unit leaders and Senior Management
• Present analytical findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner that will drive action plans
• Manage ad-hoc requests to support the strategic goals of the business
• Identify and implement process improvements to minimize opportunities for error and to improve the timeliness of our deliverables
• Collaborate with the Technology team on the new system build, creating an opportunity to design clear workflows and rigorously test results to ensure seamless integration and functionality

What’s Required

• 1-4 years of professional experience in a corporate finance and/or accounting environment; hedge fund or asset management experience is a plus
• BA or BS, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics
• Have strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills with experience in accounting fundamentals and financial reporting
• Be able to efficiently model and analyze sizeable amounts of data and work with the technology team to identify opportunities where improvement is essential
• Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively
• Have excellent attention to detail with a process-oriented approach
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial results and recommendations to Senior Management and interact with colleagues across all levels of the organization
• Be positive and flexible in order to manage change and build working relationships with our clients within Finance and throughout the Firm
• Experience with financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, or other data analysis tools) to enhance data modeling and analysis capabilities.
