Field Testing Agronomist
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the selection of field testing sites and manage field trials to assess the interactions between Genotype and Environment in corn and OSR hybrid evaluations
- Operate and maintain essential research equipment, such as planters, tractors, combines, and sensing devices, as required
- Oversee the field equipment portfolio
- Develop and enforce standards for operations, maintenance, and calibration of field equipment
- Ensure adherence to SSHE procedures
- Contribute to the conceptualization and implementation of future technological innovations in the field
Ideal candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Agronomy, Breeding, or a related field
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in field testing environments
- Leadership skills
- A solid foundation in agronomy and crop management
- Proficient in statistics and experimental design/methods
- Strong focus on results
- Willing to travel (up to 20% of the time)
- Fluency in English
