Field Testing Agronomist

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the selection of field testing sites and manage field trials to assess the interactions between Genotype and Environment in corn and OSR hybrid evaluations
• Operate and maintain essential research equipment, such as planters, tractors, combines, and sensing devices, as required
• Oversee the field equipment portfolio
• Develop and enforce standards for operations, maintenance, and calibration of field equipment
• Ensure adherence to SSHE procedures
• Contribute to the conceptualization and implementation of future technological innovations in the field

Ideal candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Agronomy, Breeding, or a related field
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in field testing environments
• Leadership skills
• A solid foundation in agronomy and crop management
• Proficient in statistics and experimental design/methods
• Strong focus on results
• Willing to travel (up to 20% of the time)
• Fluency in English
