Field Service Technician - Wind Turbines (Strzegom / Legnica / Wroclaw)

We are looking for a qualified and committed Field Technician for GE Vernova Onshore Wind to strengthen our GE Vernova Wind turbine service and maintenance team in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently on fault analyses and repair of wind turbine generator systems, including clarification of client queries; planned and preventive maintenance of wind turbine generator systems.
• Documentation of call-out responses, fault finding and repair work in service reports, logbooks and checklists.
• Coordination of external and internal service providers and contractors on site.
• Contact person for client technical queries, such as retrofits and repairs.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Professional training in electrical sector (electrician education, power electronics systems, mechatronic education).
• Familiar with PLCs and MS-Office.
• Technical degree of quality awareness; strong fault finding and diagnostics skills with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems.
• Able to work at heights.
• Structured worker with technical analytical abilities.
• English language communication skills.
• Prepared to travel.
• Willing to work sometimes also on weekends.
• Class B driving license (driving cars/vans up to 3.5 t with trailer).
