The Opportunity

For ourAbbott Molecular Diagnostics Division AMD we are looking for an ambitious, well-motivated professional to join our technical team in Poland as aField Service Engineer . This is a field-based position that requires daily travelling across assigned territory (Poland and other countries in the region - Europe).

Field Service Engineer is in continuous directcustomer contact. Is responsible for systeminstallation ,preventive maintenance and for solvinghardware andsoftware issues. FSE strongly influences theAbbott Molecular reputation by the level ofcustomer satisfaction . Timelyinstallation ensures short time to Test of Record and increases AMD revenue.

What Youll do:

• Installation andimplementation of new systems in current and new customers sites.
• Performingpreventative maintenance interventions (Hardware andSoftware upgrades andrepair interventions on molecularinstrumentation ).
• TroubleshootApplication andInstrumentation by telephone and on site, complaint logging and tracking inCall Management Systems .
• Providing on-sitecustomer support forsoftware andhardware upgradetraining .
• Active participation inAbbott Molecular conference calls,service summits, expert meetings andworkshops .
• Providing primaryservice andsupport to the defined territory.
• Providing back-upservice support outside of assigned territory as needed.
• Maintaining and managing own tools and accessories needed to perform repairs andpreventative maintenance . Including timely validations of tools according to defined procedures.
• Maintaining and managing ownSpare Parts Field Service inventory kits according to defined procedures.
• Closecooperation withApplication Support Specialists and the Commercial team tosupport business growth .
• Reports Monthly Highlights toService Management , including spare part usage report.
• RepresentsAbbott in aprofessional manner .
• Immediatelyinform Service Management about prep happened in use ofAbbott products.

Required qualifications and background:

• University degree inEngineering , Bio-medicalEngineering or related sciences.
• Prior experience inservice engineering would be a great advantage but non-experience, fresh graduates are welcome to apply as well.
• Strong technical skills andengineering mindset.
• Fluency inEnglish is essential (both written andspoken).
• NativePolish is a must.
• Team orientation andstrong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel on responsible area.
• Driving license, category B.
