Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Łódź area (Poland) – travel within Poland and across the CEE region up to 80% may be required.
What you will do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated systems, including both electrical and mechanical components.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on equipment such as storage and retrieval cranes as well as conveyor belts and baggage handling systems.
- Collaborate with local on-site teams to ensure maximum uptime and system reliability for customers.
- Work closely with the Service Desk/Hotline team to resolve incidents requiring field support.
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and site processes.
- Adhere to and promote an uncompromising safety culture in all maintenance activities.
- Participate as an active member of the Łódź maintenance team, assisting with project implementations and upgrades.
Requirements
- An electro-mechanical aptitude preferably combined with knowledge in industrial controls (PLC Siemens).
- Good reading, writing, and speaking skills in English and Polish. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Active driving license category B.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time within Poland and across the CEE region.
- Familiar with Microsoft Windows & Office.
- Vocational education in electromechanics, mechanics or electrics is a plus.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
