Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The person we look for is a Field Service Engineer working closely together with our local Polish sales and service team to serve and collaborate with our customers located in Poland and additionally support technological transformation and sustainability targets.

In the role, you will:

  1. Travel to the customers 3 - 5 days per week.
  2. Perform a combination of sampling, analytical monitoring, inventory follow-up, and reporting of your service and identified improvements.
  3. Check and maintain the dosing equipment for our chemicals.
  4. Interact with customers and be the face of Veolia WTS team in front of customers’ technical teams.

The job will bring you the opportunity to regularly interact with Veolia WTS European Product Application Team and develop your technical knowledge within a scope of work. You will also spend time on international technical training and internal team meetings.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Required qualifications:

  1. A process technologist or mechanical engineer.
  2. Oriented towards technical service.
  3. Knowledgeable of dosing systems (operation, maintenance, basic service).
  4. Open to frequent travel.
  5. Capable of working independently as well as together with the Commercial Team & Technical Experts.
  6. 3 years of relevant experience.
  7. Independent user of Google Applications and/or MS Office.
  8. Fluent in Polish and communicative in English, both verbal and written.
  9. A valid car driving license.

Desired qualifications:

  1. Experience with water and process chemical treatment.
  2. Experience with dosing systems operation.
  3. Experience in service within chemical plants, refineries, etc.
  4. Good presentation and accurate reporting skills.
  5. Strong flexibility and problem-solving skills.
  6. Proactivity, ownership, & driven by technical improvements.
