Due to a dynamically growing order intake for the retrofit packages on Wärtsilä 2-stroke main engines, together with increased interest for services offered by Wärtsilä on sustaining ship efficiency, emissions, fuel consumption, and decarbonisation, we want to strengthen our Field Service capabilities.
We are now looking for a Field Service Engineer 2-Stroke to strengthen our Field Service team. The role will be based in Gdansk, Poland .
What will you be doing?
As a Field Service Engineer 2-Stroke in our Field Service team, you will be executing mechanical Field Service activities in adherence with Wärtsilä guidelines and site procedures, providing technical expertise for our customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.
In this exciting role, youll have the opportunity to work internationally and travel the world for various service jobs for approximately 80% of your working time (up to 200 days per year). Therefore, we are looking for candidates who are ready and willing to travel, who possess a strong Field Service mindset.
