If so, you could be our next Field Sales Manager Obesity, driving sustainable market share and representing Novo Nordisks values in the Western territory.

The Position

As our Field Sales Manager Obesity, you will be responsible for building and generating sustainable regional market share by effective execution of sales and marketing plans. You will be managing and developing the sales team to maximize existing business potential. As a Field Sales Manager, you will play a key role in this mission by working directly with healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will go beyond presenting the latest therapies; you will also educate and support the medical community on best practices, cutting-edge research, and the most effective methods for treating obesity. Join us and help shape the future of care for patients with obesity by implementing real changes that will improve the quality of life for millions of people in Poland.

Position will be based in Wrocław or Poznań and cover Western Poland.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  1. Allocating sales force effort to deliver on planned sales targets/marketing objectives.
  2. Developing and ensuring execution of sales plans, targets, and budgets within the national sales strategy.
  3. Coaching and developing sales representatives’ competencies through Novo Nordisks way of coaching.
  4. Collecting and reporting data about customers, sales field activities, competitor’s activities, and health care environment developments.
  5. Ensuring effectiveness of sales promotion resources allocation.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we require you to have a very good understanding of the local pharmaceutical market and strong product portfolio knowledge. You also must have good managerial skills and a team-building personality focused on coaching and leading to bring effective sales strategies.

To be effective in this role, it is mandatory to have:

  1. University degree related to natural science or health care.
  2. Experience in a sales management role in the pharmaceutical industry with a proven achievements record.
  3. Solid knowledge of MS Office.
  4. Driving license.
  5. Knowledge of the English language is strongly preferred.

As a person, you need to have excellent communication and presentation skills which are essential to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (clarity and concision, friendliness, confidence, empathy, open-mindedness, respect), picking the right medium (adjusting the form of communication to the subject and audience).
