Position: Senior Developer – Healthcare IT Integrations
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team and drive the development and integration of healthcare technology solutions. In this role, you will design and implement interfaces for EMR systems, strategic partners, and healthcare organizations, helping them improve care quality, operational efficiency, and data security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain integration software in line with quality standards and timelines.
- Participate in product design sessions and define integration requirements.
- Create and execute test cases within the development cycle.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to meet product release goals.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and prepare partner-facing documentation.
- Identify gaps in product offerings and work with development and security teams to address them.
- Ensure compliance with legal, licensing, and security processes while safeguarding sensitive information.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Healthcare IT, with a focus on FHIR development and system integration.
- Strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, RESTful APIs, and interoperability protocols.
- Hands-on experience integrating Epic EHR systems using FHIR APIs and SMART on FHIR standards.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminologies (SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, CPT, RxNorm).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data security standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying SMART on FHIR applications in large clinical environments.
- Knowledge of organizational documentation and development standards.
- Contributions to healthcare interoperability initiatives or open standards bodies.
