Responsibilities

• Act in accordance with Eurowings’ operational philosophy.
• Maintain a high standard of quality for our guests in daily operations.
• Encourage and challenge crew members, enforcing a high standard of performance on daily flights.
• Be responsible for flight preparation and execution in compliance with legal regulations.
• Operate Eurowings aircraft safely, efficiently, responsibly, and sustainably, actively shaping the company’s culture.

Qualifications

• EASA ATPL (A) – German or Austrian License preferred; A320 type rating preferred.
• Minimum 4,000 flight hours on aircraft > 19.5 MTOM.
• Minimum 350 landings on aircraft > 19.5 MTOM.
• Active line flying within the last 24 months.
• Minimum 500 hours on A320 type (without simulator) preferred.
• No accident or incident record.
• Two references holding or having held a managerial or training position within an aviation‑related organization.
• Entrance qualification for higher education (advanced technical college, senior high school degree, university entrance exam, or equivalent).
• Good oral and written command of English (ICAO Level 4).
• Medical Class I.
• EU citizenship; non‑EU citizens must have residence and work permit and unrestricted passport validity.
