F&A Manager Central Europe & Africa

Job Description

As F&A Manager for Central Europe & Africa, you will oversee the Finance & Accounts team across the region, ensuring efficient management, standardisation, compliance, and alignment with global F&A processes. You will lead the team of 14 headcounts, deliver high‑quality service, manage stakeholder relationships, and support local compliance such as audit and tax. This newly created role strengthens operations by centralising F&A functions across Central Europe (Italy, Poland, Romania and France). You will report to the F&A Director APAC & CEMA based in Delhi.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the CEA F&A team, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
• Transition from country‑specific teams to a centralised team responsible for various processes across the region.
• Provide direction, mentorship, development and support to team members to achieve departmental goals.
• Ensure the creation of backups for critical roles to maintain continuity and performance.
• Implement and maintain standardised F&A processes across Italy, Poland, Romania, France and other assigned countries.
• Promote the use of Ramboll Shared Service Centre in India to achieve high quality and efficiency through scale.
• Ensure adherence to local audit and tax regulations within each operating country.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to mitigate risks and avoid surprises.
• Oversee the delivery of high‑quality finance and accounts services.
• Continuously improve service delivery mechanisms to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure the F&A cost budget in Central Europe & Africa (CEA) is met, achieving saving targets through strategic planning and optimisation of resources.
• Transition F&A processes to align with global standards.
• Work closely with key global stakeholders such as Group Tax, Group Treasury, Group Internal Audit, Group Compliance and F&A colleagues from other geographies.
• Implement new global processes and tools in CEA.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and communicate effectively to report on progress and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with regional managers to support business growth and operational needs in a complex global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional finance certifications (e.g. CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Extensive experience in finance and accounts management, preferably within a multinational organisation.
• Proven track record in team leadership and management.
• Strong understanding of local audit and tax compliance in Central European countries.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Romanian and French is beneficial but not required.
