Factory Engineering Manager - Distribution Transformers location: Łódź. As Engineering Manager (m/f/d), you and your team of mechanical and electrical designers are responsible for high-quality, efficient, and market-oriented solutions for liquid-filled transformers for national and international customers. Your focus is on the efficient design and technical optimization of our product portfolio. How You’ll Make An Impact
- You design, implement and maintain an advanced configuration management.
- You establish and manage the departmental structure to ensure efficient use of resources, with on-time delivery meeting requirements.
- You drive continuous improvement processes and inspire your team to adopt changes. You will collaborate with product management, development, product marketing, quality, purchasing, production, key suppliers and service providers.
- As a competent contact person, you will support customers and internal interfaces with technical clarification.
- Your solution orientation and analytical skills help you continuously increase the efficiency of design processes.
- Your responsibilities include planning, controlling and implementing strategic projects as well as introducing new guidelines and specifications.
- As an experienced manager, you set clear goals aligned with plant and global product group strategy and motivate your team to achieve them. You will develop your teams skills using HR management tools.
- Be part of a global organization (EUC HUB) and establish close cooperation with other teams, contributing to standardization within the organization.
Your Background
- A degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics.
- Knowledge of variant management including modularization, standardization and series production of assemblies.
- Experience in the field of energy technology.
- Experience in a management position with strengths in leading and motivating people and driving change.
- Familiarity with working in an international environment.
- Fluent in Polish and English.
