International Manufacturing Company is seeking a qualified candidate for overseeing the overall operations of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives.
  2. Ensure the factory operates at optimal efficiency while minimising downtime and waste.
  3. Manage inventory levels to balance production needs with cost efficiency.
  4. Oversee the maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure operational continuity.
  5. Identify opportunities for capacity expansion, technology upgrades, and process improvements.
  6. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and supervisors to drive performance and accountability.
  7. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work culture.
  8. Ensure adherence to all quality assurance policies, standards, and industry regulations.
  9. Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  10. Develop and manage the factorys operating budget, controlling costs while maintaining efficiency.
  11. Monitor KPIs, analyse performance data, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  12. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement lean manufacturing practices.
  13. Partner with the sales and supply chain teams to meet customer demands and manage lead times.
  14. Address and resolve production-related issues impacting customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  2. 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  3. Strong background in manufacturing.
  4. Proven track record in implementing lean manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  5. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality assurance systems.
  6. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Experienced in ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision-making.
  8. Exceptional problem-solving and crisis management abilities.
