Purpose
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will work closely with BVI indirect customers (Export & European distributors), providing timely and relevant information, resolving queries, handling complaints, and going the extra mile to engage with customers. You will process key data such as order entry, invoicing, customer creation, and stock allocation in a fast‑paced environment, requiring strong organization, focus, and a high level of self‑sufficiency.
You will build sustainable, trust‑based relationships through open and effective communication, both internally and externally. You will maintain accurate records of customer interactions, process customer orders, and follow established communication procedures, guidelines, and policies while performing your duties in a professional and courteous manner.
This is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. A bonus will be awarded upon successful completion of the full 6‑month term.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders through all stages, including return authorizations and credit note requests, accurately and on time in the relevant ERP system
- Manage customer queries and communication with indirect customers across Europe and Export markets to ensure successful dispatch of deliveries
- Ensure export orders are dispatched with appropriate checks completed, including registrations and correct export documentation for the destination country
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries
- Prioritize workload and organize your time effectively to meet deadlines and respond to enquiries promptly or elevate when appropriate
- Process customer invoices in line with procedures, ensuring fast and accurate turnaround
- Support additional administrative tasks related to the order‑to‑cash cycle as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Customer Service with a strong focus on export operations
- Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems within an order‑to‑cash environment
- Experience working with export documentation for shipments outside of Europe
- Previous experience handling export customer orders and deliveries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage customers while handling multiple priorities
