Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous training of the main DL model; define schedules, ensure stability via CI, and monitor training speed and resource usage.
• Provide full observability of model KPIs, tracking metrics over time and across use‑cases.
• Enable traceability from deployed models back to data, configuration, and code.
• Provide a centralized platform for experiment tracking.
• Assist DL teams with workflow automation and tool provision.
• Build bridges between DL, MLOps, backbone, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure smooth model flow from training to deployment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this expert role, you must demonstrate the following:

Expert Criteria

• Proven Experience: Substantial history in MLOps with real production deployments; theoretical knowledge or certifications alone are insufficient.

Technical Core

• Programming: Mastery of Python for scripting and building complex applications.
• Database Design: Expert‑level SQL design and usage; architect efficient data storage solutions.
• Data Specialization: Deep experience with time‑series data, including windowing, seasonality, and high‑frequency ingestion.

Infrastructure & Platform

• Containerization: Advanced proficiency with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• HPC Schedulers: Hands‑on experience with PBS and integration into ML workflows.
• API Development: Strong ability in REST/gRPC API design for exposing ML capabilities.

Engineering Fundamentals

• Software Engineering: Core principles, algorithms, and system design.
• Data Engineering: Build the plumbing that feeds models, not just the models themselves.

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Experience with time‑series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB).
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Kubeflow, Argo).
• Background in High‑Performance Computing.
