About the role

The Expert Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering pre and post launch content dedicated to HCP at country level, working closely with the Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) following the brands strategy.

The Expert Marketing Manager provides medical content and briefing for KOLs at congresses, works closely with the & by providing content dedicated to HCPs and strategic insights to marketing materials and projects, together with a strong sense of compliance with the pharmaceutical industry codes.

The Expert Marketing Manager organizes advisory boards on a national level and is delivering local or international publications, congress posters, and presentations in collaboration with KOLs. In this role, you will be an expert on the product content and you will provide medical, scientific education to KOLs and medical training for commercial colleagues by presentations and training.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Being a key interface on behalf of Haleon with external organizations including Healthcare Organizations, Medical/Pharmaceutical Associations, External Experts, etc.
  2. Implement the local education strategy in line with brand activation strategy
  3. Coordinate internal/external resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects
  4. Establish and manage the relationship with KOLs
  5. Mapping of KOLs for the brand/category and gathering KOL insights on Haleon’s products
  6. Organizing local advisory boards (content, objectives, speakers, attendees)
  7. First HCP contact at congresses and symposia, briefing KOLs for congress and symposia presentations
  8. Provide contracts for external (consultancy/speaker) activities with HCPs
  9. Building networks with and working closely with stakeholders within global, regional, and PL teams
  10. Deliver international and local publications and congress posters within the strategy of the product
  11. Develop SOPs and Working Instructions to improve efficiency, quality, and compliance in processes related to Expert Marketing
  12. Develop training decks and provide training for the commercial team about Haleon products and competitors
  13. Medical scientific input on Marketing projects and materials in collaboration with the Expert Lead & Marketing Lead
  14. Ensure all Medical and Marketing projects, materials, and presentations comply with applicable law and Company policies
  15. Ensure alignment with product strategies and drive execution timelines, ensure budget oversight and share metrics around deliverables and successes
  16. Deliver KPIs to measure success/improvement areas, and drive transparency through consistent communications

Basic Qualifications:

  1. University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution (e.g., nursing certification, medical or laboratory technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  2. 5 or more years of medical/expert/brand marketing experience in Consumer Products or Over-the-Counter (OTC) industry
  3. Experience delivering insights-based medical communications
  4. Experience in large scale new product launches; collaboration with global teams; delivering results in a matrix organization; ability to build strong internal networks and communicate across departments and functions to meet business objectives
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  6. Goal-oriented and strategic thinking; strong ownership, engagement & leadership skills
  7. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  8. Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  9. Ability to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations in matrix structure
  10. Advanced in English and Polish
