Our Customer is looking for 5 Expert Java Developers located in Kraków or Wroclaw who will be obliged to visit one of the clients offices twice per week.

Background check: required pre-onboarding

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and test product code.
• Utilize fundamental and advanced concepts to create effective business solutions.
• Take part in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to shape architecture decisions.
• Assess code written by other developers, offering feedback to uphold best practices, including style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
• Identify, debug, and resolve product or platform issues by analyzing their impact on hardware, networks, or service operations.
• Question ambiguous requirements to ensure clarity and prevent costly assumptions.

Technical Requirements

• Experience: 8–10 years in software development
• Java Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Java 8, 11, or 21
• Frameworks & Technologies: Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Kafka
• Testing: Proficiency in Unit Testing and Integration Testing using various Java frameworks
• DevOps & Cloud: Solid understanding of DevOps practices with GitLab; exposure to Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Java Concepts: Strong grasp of both core and advanced Java principles, with the ability to apply them effectively
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in financial services and familiarity with financial projects
• Enterprise Development: Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise-level application development
• Testing Expertise: Extensive experience in writing unit tests
• Database Skills: Ability to write intermediate-level SQL queries
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Agile Methodology: Exposure to Agile development practices
• Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with cloud-based technologies
• DevOps Familiarity: Understanding of DevOps principles and workflows
