Orange is seeking an expert with extensive experience in validation and test automation for optical access networks across various vendors. Areas of expertise should include optical access equipment (OLT & ONU), software management, and controllers (e.g., evolution to SDAN). We are looking for professionals with deep knowledge and experience in test platforms and automation, along with the ability to provide local support, ensuring that customers receive a consistent, global solution wherever they conduct business.
responsibilities :
Evaluation and validation of new equipment in accordance with corporate equipment policies.
Conduct automated testing for hardware and software, from selection through deployment, including validation.
Provide technical expertise on FTTx equipment to support countries in their fixed access deployments.
requirements-expected :
Ideally, you have experience in optical fiber access networks with strong technical network skills. You are eager to work with innovative, next-generation solutions and share them with the entire group.
Knowledge of IP and L2/L3 engineering for OLT.
E2E automated testing and tooling expertise.
Proficiency in a scripting language (Python).
Familiarity with automation tools (RobotFramework, Jenkins).
Software development experience using Agile Scrum methodology.
Knowledge of telecommunications networks.
Willingness to work in an international environment.
Fluency in English.
