Position available in Warsaw, Poland or Malmö, Sweden (On-Site Hybrid)

Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for an Expert Engine Programmer to join our team and help shape the foundation of our next-generation AAA experiences on our new IP.



In this role, you will drive innovation and optimize our engine systems and workflows, focusing on performance, scalability, and rapid iteration . You will collaborate closely with engineers and content creators to deliver cutting-edge tools and solutions that push the boundaries of whats possible in gaming.

1. Maintaining and optimizing engine systems with focus on performance and scalability.
2. Improving our technology stack for next-gen development and future platforms.
3. Working with stakeholders to translate creative ideas into software.
4. Collaborating with peers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
5. Anticipating challenges and risks and implementing innovative and preventative solutions.

You’re awesome because you have…

1. 7+ years of experience as a professional Engineer (or some combination of applicable training and experience).
2. Spearheaded design and implementation of several architectural systems.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in C/C++.
4. Strong 3D math background.
5. Thorough understanding of common data structures and algorithmic solutions.
6. Expert in several of the following areas: graphics and animation techniques, interface design practices, effects, test engineer, AI, online, physics, rendering, vehicle, portability, extensibility, and testability.
7. Thorough knowledge of software design practices including modular architecture, event-driven architecture, software design patterns and object-oriented design.
8. Ability to work with internal and externally developed code.
9. Ability to write clean, readable, portable, reliable, and optimized code.
10. Comfort with self-critique and accepting outside feedback.
11. One or more shipped AAA titles.

1. Major recognition in your field(s) of expertise.
2. Experience in adjacent disciplines such as quest design, environment art, programming, etc.
