Have 10+ years’ experience in Data Management and knowledge of Data Solutions (Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Streaming data and AI/ML).

Have 5+ years’ risk (services) domain knowledge, including expertise at the intersection of banking business, risk and data management domains.

Experience working in a large (international) organization spanning multiple segments and locations, dealing with global operating models and deployment across countries and/or hubs.

Are able to proactively and independently identify problems, analyze key information and make connections, in order to bring solutions to senior management.

Have excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English.

Are familiar with Agile environment, and know how to make it a real part of your job.

Have a multicultural mind-set and a highly customer-focused outlook.

Statistical modelling experience.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Drive the COOR Global Data Deliveries Roadmap.
  2. Align with COOR entities and functions on local and global business priorities and drive the QBR for global data delivery.
  3. Ensure integrated end to end data deliveries toward our programs and functions in close alignment with the data consumers/report owners of these programs and (local) data suppliers.
  4. Support COOR programs with consultancy on solution design and data modelling expertise.
  5. Communicate effectively, adapting your style and the content of your communication to the needs of others you work with, paying attention to the input and opinions of others.
  6. Coordinate the resolution for Audit issues, on-site inspections (OSI) and internal model investigation (IMI).
  7. Have a customer focus, building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
  8. Drive engagement, creating an environment in which people are motivated to perform at their best to help ING achieve its goals.
  9. Be organizational savvy, maneuvering easily through complex policies, processes and people-related organizational dynamics across ING.
  10. Look ahead, showing a strategic mindset and finding future opportunities which you can translate into concrete strategies.

Information about the squad:

You will be part of the Data & Reporting area within the Data department, which is part of COO Risk. This is a part of Risk Hub – a business unit whose main aim is to shape the future of risk modelling and data analysis in Poland. We are also part of a global, cross-location tribe Data & Reporting, with colleagues in Amsterdam, Warsaw, and Manila.

You will play the role of Data Governance Expert, closely cooperating with another expert in a similar position, working on producing and maintaining data governance within the organization. You will work closely with other data teams, model development, methodology team, and other stakeholders. You will report to the Chapter Lead – Data Capabilities.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Data Management Expert IV”.
