Your responsibilities

  • Monitor month-end closing activities to meet quality and required deadlines in accordance with closing calendar and internal controls requirements
  • Oversee the AR lifecycle, including payment application, bad debt and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with external/internal legal teams for escalation of unresolved cases
  • Handle complex cases such as insolvency, bankruptcy, and restructuring
  • Collaborate with external/internal legal teams on customer insolvency cases and ensure proper documentation
  • Provide recommendations to management on debt recovery
  • Manage Trade Credit Insurance Claims, handle Bad Debt postings and general provision
  • Ensure accurate reporting of bad debt provisions and write-offs in compliance with accounting standards and UPM Policies

Our requirements

  • You have bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification is a strong asset
  • You have minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with a proven track record of managing complex cases and bad debt handling
  • You possess deep understanding of AR processes, accounting standards, debt management, insolvency regulations, and financial analysis
  • You demonstrate proficiency in ERP systems and data visualization tools
  • You exhibit strong analytical thinking and you have excellent communication skills
  • You can collaborate effectively across departments and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • You are a strong communicator and collaborator, skilled at building relationships across departments, functions and with external stakeholders to drive alignment and business succes

We are now looking for Expert, Customer Account Management in Customer Operations in Finance, Finance & Control located in UPM Business HUB Wroclaw, Poland.
