As a  C++ Developer – Fixed Income Trading Platforms , you will be working for our client, a market leader in electronic trading solutions for rates, credit, equities, and money markets. You will contribute to building and enhancing their state-of-the-art fixed-income trading platform, collaborating with global teams to deliver impactful solutions in a highly dynamic environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend servers (C++) used for real-time trading applications within a Windows environment

• Enhance system performance and reliability across all phases of the project lifecycle

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to design and implement tailored solutions for client needs

• Support quality assurance teams by troubleshooting and resolving issues during development and testing

• Work independently and as part of a team, owning issues and driving resolution

• Recognize and prioritize critical production and client-facing issues to ensure seamless operation

• Contribute to continuous improvement of the platform, adopting best practices and innovative approaches

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 8 years of experience in C++ programming within a professional setting

• Strong knowledge of data structures, object-oriented programming, multithreaded programming, and design patterns

• Good understanding of databases and SQL

• Experience with version control systems such as GIT

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work across teams and levels of the organization

• Ability to work independently, own issues, and deliver solutions effectively

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in visual development using Visual Studio on Windows

• Background in finance, particularly fixed income

• Knowledge of Perl and shell scripting

• Familiarity with communication protocol fundamentals

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English
