Overview

Experienced Systems Engineer (Reliability & Maintainability) – Boeing, Gdansk, Poland. This role involves engineering work to support reliability and maintainability across Boeing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Fault Trees for various airplane systems on Boeing Commercial Airplane programs.
  • Perform numerical probability calculations for failure events.
  • Coordinate fault tree dependencies with cross-functional Design Engineering groups.
  • Present results during Design Reviews.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent or higher degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in Systems Engineering with emphasis on Aircraft Systems Safety Analysis or Automotive Functional Safety.
  • Knowledge of reliability models and methods.
  • Experience with Fault Tree Analysis tools (CAFTA, Isograph FaultTree+, Dassault MSoSA Safety toolbox).
  • FMEA/FMECA/FTA experience in Aerospace/Automotive or Energy domain.
  • Upper-Intermediate English required (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in Systems Engineering with emphasis on Aircraft Systems Safety Analysis or Automotive Functional Safety.
  • Experience with ARP4761(A) or similar Automotive/Energy ISO standard.
  • SysML knowledge or experience.
