The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Department is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. The team sets guidelines, ensures compliance with legal and global standards, and promotes HSE awareness across the plant and among suppliers. Through audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives, the department supports operational excellence and contributes to productivity and quality. It works closely with all departments to embed a robust safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

  • Ensure implementation of the HSE system according to legislation and global requirements
  • Promote HSE awareness and provide training to staff across departments
  • Supervise suppliers to ensure compliance with LM HSE standards
  • Monitor and report HSE performance, update LMPS boards, and flag critical issues
  • Conduct inspections and audits of operational controls (e.g., emergency exits, chemical storage)
  • Investigate work accidents and implement corrective actions
  • Preventive actions and HSE initiatives improve safety, productivity, and quality

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or 1–2 years of vocational technical training (C level); university degree for D level
  • 1–6+ years of relevant work experience depending on career level
  • Experience in industrial HSE environments, preferably in blade production
  • Certifications as required by local legislation
  • Completion of internal LM safety training
  • Knowledge of HSE systems and English language proficiency
  • Familiarity with LM business systems (e.g., Axapta, BMS) is preferred
  • Rule-following and conscientious approach to safety
  • Able to collaborate effectively with various departments
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and inspections
  • Ability to work efficiently and propose solutions to HSE challenges
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to conduct audits and execute necessary corrective measures
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration
