Executes data governance based on data strategy for selected area of accountability: data quality, operations, storage, reference and master data, data standards, security, vendor governance, and meta data. Acts as a trusted data expert for business. Responsibilities include:

1. Executing data changes per defined stewardship rules, such as data standards, security, and quality.
2. Providing data quality insights for specific questions.
3. Providing training and developing training materials.
4. Acting as a technical expert/SME on data.
5. Serving as the escalation point for incidents.
6. Driving purchase plan process and managing data provider payments.
7. Reinforcing data security rules and guidelines.
8. Updating meta data.

Job Qualifications

Required:

• 1-2+ years of past Data Management experience or experience in operating and being Data Steward for complex data set/s.
• Basic Data Analytics and Data Management skills and understanding (e.g., Master data, Data Standardization, Data Quality, Data Validation, Data modelling).
• Ability to perform Data validations and/or testing.
• Focus on data understanding and mapping data activation needs to requirements, with a value and priority-oriented mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging with Business partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
• Agility and flexibility to manage multiple priorities, responsibilities, and changes in a team environment.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Good to have:

• Experience with agile product development and IT service delivery frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, ITIL).
• Experience with Azure Cloud applications or Azure certification (or other public cloud).
