As part of this mission, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Business Transformation Delivery and Execution team, with a focus on European Policy. Team at EY provides robust, evidence-based policy, regulatory, and economic advice, as well as technical assistance primarily to European institutions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that shape policy and drive transformation across Europe.

Your key responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant—someone driven, proactive, and ready to make an impact. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality projects while supporting our business development initiatives. As a Senior Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead evaluations and impact assessments of public‑sector programs and policies, applying diverse methodologies such as desk research, document review, interviews, data analysis, and evidence triangulation.
• Manage projects and assignments effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality, evidence‑based outputs.
• Contribute to proposal development, including designing methodologies and supporting budget planning to drive successful bids.
• Create robust data collection tools, such as guides, questionnaires, and research templates, to enable efficient project execution.
• Produce clear, insightful reports and written deliverables that communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
• Engage and collaborate with stakeholders at national and international levels, including EU institutions and program beneficiaries.
• Support the design and implementation of evaluation frameworks, including evaluation matrices, interview guides, focus groups, and case studies, ensuring methodological rigor and reliability.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience working with EU clients in a consulting or research capacity.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities, with proven ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into evidence‑based insights through triangulation.
• Excellent writing skills, including the ability to produce high‑quality analytical reports and deliverables in English.
• Academic background in public policy, political science, European studies, law, economics, international relations, or a related discipline.
• Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.
