EU Marketing Science and MMM Manager – PepsiCo
This role leads A&M Measurement and Optimization across key European Anchor Markets (Poland, France, Spain) and others, managing one ROI Engine Consultant and collaborating closely with the ROI Engine Technical Team.
Role highlights
- Define and execute the A&M Measurement agenda in partnership with Operational Units Media and Marketing teams
- Deliver holistic insights leveraging ROI Engine outputs and complementary studies (Creative Quality, Brand Equity, Brand Lift, Market Share, etc.)
- Provide strategic recommendations to marketing and commercial leadership team to enhance A&M performance and drive change management
- Lead cross‑EMEA Marketing Science initiatives, including Influencers / User Generated Content Impact Measurement
Responsibilities
- Lead A&M Measurement and Optimization program across 6 EU markets: end‑to‑end project management—from defining scope to data collection, modelling, delivering results and supporting local teams with media optimisation.
- Manage actual media and sales data collection for respective markets; liaise with internal and external media agencies and insights teams, validate data accuracy and perform necessary data transformation.
- Supervise modelling: partner with technical teams (data science and data engineers) to ensure a robust and accurate model.
- Translate modelling into actionable business impact: deliver clear, compelling insights from MMM and complementary studies to senior business stakeholders; embed learnings into media planning and investment decisions.
- Drive A&M optimisation across the ecosystem: partner with media agencies, media strategy, and local marketing, media and insights teams to enable data‑driven optimisation of A&M investments.
- Influence and govern change at senior levels: engage and align senior stakeholders to embed A&M optimisation recommendations into media execution; lead change management initiatives where needed to ensure adoption and impact.
- Quantify and communicate value creation: track incremental value generated through measurement and optimisation efforts; codify best practices to support global rollout and scale across other PepsiCo sectors beyond Europe.
- Lead cross‑market Marketing Science initiatives: own strategic capabilities such as Influencers/User Generated Content and owned and earned media measurement and optimisation.
- Lead and scale a high‑performing team: manage 1 direct report and influence 4‑6 indirect technical modelling peers to deliver a robust, holistic A&M measurement program across key European markets.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Insights and Data Analytics—across research agencies, consultancy, or client‑side roles. A strong track record in delivering Marketing Mix Modelling and media effectiveness insights is a must.
- Exceptional analytical acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations that drive business impact.
- Proven leadership in matrixed environments, with a demonstrated ability to grow and mentor talent, foster collaboration across functions, and build high‑performing teams.
- Strong influencing and communication skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders across marketing, commercial and finance functions.
- Advanced project and program management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely and high‑quality execution across markets and teams.
- Deep understanding of data‑driven marketing, with strong intuition around advanced analytics and modelling techniques (e.g., regression, A/B testing). While not required to build models, the candidate should be comfortable interpreting outputs and guiding technical teams.
- High proficiency in data visualization and storytelling tools.
- Global mindset and agility, with the ability to travel (up to 10%) to engage with senior stakeholders across European markets and internal Centres of Excellence.
- Fluent in English and Polish; additional languages are an advantage.
